[ Neat, orderly writing is chalked down on the board. It appears to be...a list of words, though there is some explanation given to their context. ]

would be helpful if others could explain:

[Shion takes the opportunity whilst Aster is resting to 'accidentally' gather up her farspeak stone whilst tidying. So that he can make this announcement out of her hearing.]

Hello everyone, it's Shion. Firstly it's Aster's birthday on the nineteenth of this month for those that know her! She won't want to do anything big but I'm going to make her a birthday meal. I think I know most of her friends but if you know her and not me let me know and you can come for tea.

Secondly I've been thinking about something. I know there are people here from worlds were magic and special powers exist. I was wondering if those with such magic found anything strange about it here. If there are any places on the islands where your magic hasn't worked or has worked in a way that you did not expect it to. Also if there are any other oddities about using it. If you don't want to talk over these stones feel free to come and find me. I live in the southernmost hut of the North-Western Islet.

[It's been like two weeks since pumpkin carving happened. A cute and fun event that probably doesn't seem that important to most.

The Hollow Knight begs to differ.

The voice on the network is non-descript. The default for those with no voice of their own. You might've assumed that, with how little they communicate even considering their muteness, the Hollow Knight just doesn't have a lot to say.

You would be wrong.]

The purpose of surrounding oneself with the hue of death willingly still escapes me, even as time passes. It still remains, like a mockery, and no one understands the danger of it. Do they just not care?

I swear these virulent spheres are up to something and no one here will be safe until they're gone!

Even a trace of the light's influence should be destroyed, not simply carved into a decoration. It's inviting doom on us all. Just how much more of it is present here? How far does it reach?

Why does it have to be so orange?!

[...they're ranting about a color.]

We’ve been through some nonsense.

How about a community gathering next month? We could do with one to keep the morale up. Roast venison, a campfire, perhaps some shenanigans. After Storytelling might be best, in the event something happens on the next island.

[Full disclosure: Laurent’s fiance’s birthday is next month, on the 25th. That’s why he’s suggesting this. But listen, no one has to know it’s a secret birthday party, there’ll be food and maybe games and everyone will benefit anyway.

Plus, he’s willing to provide some lucrative party favours:]

I've considered requisitioning the Storyteller for some alcohol, if you think it’s a good idea. Or those weeds people like so much.

[Hey, everybody, guess what? Tim's been a busy boy.]

alright 2 things

1. i got 30 flare guns. each has 4 rounds with 2 colors: red and blue. blue is if you need help. red is to tell everyone to clear out cause of serious danger. i'm at the storyteller's temple if you need one. don't need to trade anything but like i said i only have 30 so if you travel in a group and keep together you should just have 1 between you all. if you run out of flares you gotta ask ST for more.

2. who here knows how to fight. just putting it out there it might be good to have some people we all know can handle themselves if someone needs help. guard task force security group call it whatever you want itd just be damn handy to know who to ask for in a fight

thats all
