[stonecast, the info sharening]
[Hey there, Enso, it's ya boy Lance. Or ya stranger Lance, he hasn't exactly been a social butterfly on account of abruptly disappearing.
But, anyways, he is here, on your rock, laying down his dulcet tones because a discover has been made.]
Sooo that new island, right? With all the nothing and the flowers? [You know the one.] Had a little search party and found a letter - or more like a diary page, really? Keith [who you might hear int he background, or you might not, we're doing it live] thinks it's pretty important.
[There's the careful rustle of paper, as Lance doublechecks the scroll.]
Some of the writing at the bottom got damaged, but whoever wrote this was evacuating their home - some place called Tempide - because it was being swallowed by the sea? [Or it was something else that had the side-effect of raising sea levels.] Or collapsing, which they say had happened before.
They ended up at a temple which - might be somewhere on this island? We found this at a dock.
[There's a brief pause, because what do you really...say when you're dealing with something like this?]
There's more, but I don't really know what it means. But somebody else might find something that explains more.

I found one of the robots still working. Or well, close enough to it. It talks.

According to this journal page, they mentioned something about knowledge left behind.

[Do you hear that? That's the sound of Lance not adding anything of value to this conversation.]

[There's a pointed pause.]
But utterly useless if you don't share the exact contents of what was important. If it's something written, read it so we can know what it says. You're summary is pointless and not helpful at all.
no subject
He was getting a summary out so people could pause what they're doing. We still have no idea how safe this island is.
Ready?

And though I understand summaries being useful, they're only useful for recapping or when you have more pieces. They're useless when trying to put things together. It would be better to state that he found something interesting and then say he will share it after knowing people are listening.
But, I suppose I can forgive. Some people are just not on the right level as others.

ota | laurent predicts next month's lottery numbers (it's "DEATH")
[Here’s Laurent with a very optimistic weather report! But let’s be real, we know he’s right.]
Second. You. [lance it’s you.] Transcribe that letter onto the message board in the Storyteller’s Temple. ...please.

But someone has to look into these things, because I have no doubt whatsoever that if we leave them alone and just hope the disaster happens to someone else instead, it will eventually come back to make us all regret ignoring it somehow.
Whereas if we gather tools and information now, we might have something useful to work with when it inevitably does its' best to kill us.
[Muffet's approach to exploration, explained. She's an optimist at heart, sort of.]

at least it isn’t death and taxes
But the only way we’re getting any answers is exploring these islands. I checked the dock we found this near there’s nothing else in this area.

He does transcribe the page as asked, making a note of who found it, where, and when.]
Is, uh, is everything around here out to kill us? Because it seems like everything ever here wants to kill us.
[Read: he sees no reason to not be reckless about this.]

[Muffet sounds sincerely grateful for this, in her own polite, restrained way. Sharing is caring is not getting caught off-guard by weird island horrors, children. Know it, love it, avoid your imminent demise.]

Appreciate it - I would recommend looking in buried boxes. Like someone didn't want anyone to find it.
[Which, if it's someone's diary, makes sense! That's private.]

Greetings. Both myself and my friend searched this island as well and discovered a piece of technology. It is technology I am not personally familiar with but it has some words that may be useful. Forgive any pauses as it appears to be heavily damaged and fragments of the message is missing.
[Grimm pauses for a moment and there is a quiet shuffling before the Troupe Master processes to repeat what is said.]
If anyone wishes to see this item in person, myself and my friend can be found along the shoreline.

'The draperies of our fiction'...? I've heard that before, and it meant nothing good for us all. Forgive me, I don't recognize your voice- are you a newcomer, or were you here when we saw the island of Ai'tuoh?
[She spent a long time memorizing those terrible laws of theirs, knowing that her unconventional appearance would not allow her even the slightest leeway, were she to risk setting foot on their island. She remembers how they ended.]

[...He doesn't like any of this. He wants to take everyone and run far from here then come back and investigate himself. But no one will go for that and they need speed. It causes a pause in his talking.]
I can also confirm I heard that last line before. [He breathes out slowly.] Anyway, so whatever got these people had stages to it. And fire didn't help but this Fluro did.
Except it was killing them too. ...I wonder if the robot...care takers were really immune. Or it's been that long since this happened.

[He stops babbling for about two seconds, but only to go through the message again.] Many species in the astragalus family have bell shaped flowers. For example Astragalus desperatus, Astragalus vexilliflexus and Astragalus gracilis.
A lot of them really...
