Some of the writing at the bottom got damaged, but whoever wrote this was evacuating their home - some place called Tempide - because it was being swallowed by the sea? [Or it was something else that had the side-effect of raising sea levels.] Or collapsing, which they say had happened before.

They ended up at a temple which - might be somewhere on this island? We found this at a dock.

[There's a brief pause, because what do you really...say when you're dealing with something like this?]

Astragalus? That is the name of the largest genus of plants... At least in my world. It has about three thousand species and belongs to the legume family fabaceae and the sub family faboideae. Some species are poisonous to animals, only if they contain swainsonine... but I've never heard of a disease called Astragalus.

[He stops babbling for about two seconds, but only to go through the message again.] Many species in the astragalus family have bell shaped flowers. For example Astragalus desperatus, Astragalus vexilliflexus and Astragalus gracilis.

Due to the natures of the worlds I have traveled to in the past, I am unfamiliar with many species of flowers. The bell flowers in question, do they grow in this quiet island?

[Very distinctive, as there are likely not a lot of people here that look like a bug version of Dracula. But unless Shion has anymore questions for Grimm, he will wait where they have agreed to meet.]

Alright... [Distinctive can mean many things. Shion has seen a lot in the three years he's been out in the multiverse. Back on his first world his own appearance was considered distinctive but since leaving it people have barely batted an eyebrow.

So he's not sure exactly who he is looking for, but tiny bug who is not the Knight... There's a pretty decent chance this is the right person.]

[Grimm is not as tiny as the Knight is - he's rather tall and strangely stick-thin. But perhaps the nature of his Ritual and rebirth made it so Grimm's own self-awareness of his appearance rather lackluster. He looked the same each time.]
