I've studied a fair amount of magecraft and can cast well enough. I can explain how it works in my world of origin to some extent, though I'm not much of a teacher if that's what you're looking for.

Theology is a different matter. Again, it's something I've looked into, but I can only speak for my own world and not this one, and most of it would be relegated to stories and the like as opposed to actual proven fact.

Unfortunately, that's I have for now - explanations and the results of my own studies to the best of my remembrance.

I would be happy to explain how the magic of my world works to you, though I've found it works in a way quite unique from the magic of others I've spoken with. Outliers can both be helpful and distracting.

We can speak on theology too if you wish, but I must warn you I'm rather biased when it comes to speaking of the gods from my world. I've learned quite a few unfavorable things about them since coming here.

Personally, I've always felt all data has value. It's just a matter of finding what it is and where it fits.

You’re going to have to be a little more specific than that. Both of those subjects are extensive, even within one single universe.

Our knowledge of magic is not sufficient to increase specificity. On theology, we are primarily seeking direct experiences with higher beings, though we are also interested in history and beliefs.

That's not very helpful then. Magic is a pretty wide area. Even the very definition of magic is different depending on who you ask.

And there you go again with the non-specifics. Higher beings could very depending on who you ask. Assuming you're talking gods, can't say I ever met one. They certainly wouldn't bother with someone like me, even as a faithful Demmurist.

It's uh...S' energy that lets life exist where I'm from. It sort've exists on it's own plane and moves back and forth te ours. Folks well-versed in the art can call an' shape Aether either from it's plane or from their own selves an' shape it into what we usually call 'Magic.' I ain't got much've a knack for workin with it, save fer what's already in my own self.

What is your knowledge of souls?

(They have a goal which this does not further, but this topic is important to them: the question of whether the Geth have a soul has been at the core of their struggle to be considered worthy of continued existence.)

My kind can see the souls of humans - only humans, in my world, but since I left it I have seen the souls of other species as well. I am no scientist, but I suppose they must be composed of similar substances to those of humans.

[It makes sense enough to him, at any rate. He's yet to meet another species whose bodies are made of magic like a monster. Of course other more physical species would have more powerful souls.]

There have been others I cannot perceive so clearly. But that is natural as well. Monster souls are only visible under very rare circumstances.

I can't help with theology, but I can with magic... or my world's equivalent of it.

I'm not really... I don't think I can speak very much to theology. But magic...

There aren't a lot of people who can use things like magic. Powers are very rare, where I come from. One of my friends can use the elements like fire, water, air... She can manipulate things like plants, too. She can make them grow faster. Honestly, I still think there are things she hasn't told me about.

A lot of people keep their powers secret, though, so I'm not sure what all there is.
