A person who is a follower of the Demmurist religion of Andaria. Although on Andaria proper the religion is basically banned. The fyreblood clans are Demmurist, and they're basically banned too.

What are the beliefs of Demmurists? Why is this religion banned?

Relatively common ones really. That the gods look over and protect us. That how we act in our lives determines where we will go after our death. We attend religious celebrations like others too, but that's the big difference. Our gatherings are actually celebrations. They aren't formal like most. We got in bright colors, sing, dance, and generally celebrate.

Your society is capable of space travel?

Capable makes it sound like we managed to get a ship off into space and back without killing anyone in what was a once in a lifetime moment.

I live in the United System of the Ichidian Universe. Literally a group of planets that are within easy travel distance from each other, generally speaking. Enough so that there's a loose alliance between the planets' leaders. Space travel is a daily occurrence for many of us, and part and parcel of many jobs.

Acknowledged. Though inhabited planets are not necessarily in close proximity to each other, many civilizations in our universe also make extensive use of space travel.

Close proximity is rather subjective.

And you're the only one I know of who even realizes space travel is a real thing and not some book fiction.

Known inhabited planets are spread throughout the galaxy, primarily clustered around mass relays.

It is similar for us: neither space travel nor advanced technology appear common.

We have acquired tools to assist in basic repairs, but the necessary infrastructure to perform more extensive repairs does not exist.

[Jules is inventive and has some extra abilities that could help, but he isn't that good.]
