Your society is capable of space travel?

Capable makes it sound like we managed to get a ship off into space and back without killing anyone in what was a once in a lifetime moment.

I live in the United System of the Ichidian Universe. Literally a group of planets that are within easy travel distance from each other, generally speaking. Enough so that there's a loose alliance between the planets' leaders. Space travel is a daily occurrence for many of us, and part and parcel of many jobs.

Acknowledged. Though inhabited planets are not necessarily in close proximity to each other, many civilizations in our universe also make extensive use of space travel.

Close proximity is rather subjective.

And you're the only one I know of who even realizes space travel is a real thing and not some book fiction.

Known inhabited planets are spread throughout the galaxy, primarily clustered around mass relays.

It is similar for us: neither space travel nor advanced technology appear common.

The lack of technology is one of the things that makes this place so exceedingly annoying.

We are technology: with limited options for repair, survival is difficult.

(After a moment of consideration, they achieve consensus that it is unlikely that even if this person has prejudice against synthetics that he will bring them serious harm.)

Huh. Yeah, that sucks. If there were actually supplies here I could probably help.

[Jules has always been good with technology, but since he'd gained Trisani abilities working with tech was so much easier.]

Supplies are limited. We have stripped our corpse of usable parts.

(But would Legion trust him to help?)

And of course this damn place isn't going to be helpful with that.

[And Jules definitely isn't good enough to make anything himself.

Probably not really. If it were Jules, he wouldn't be that trusting and he wasn't even talking about someone messing around in his head.]

We have acquired tools to assist in basic repairs, but the necessary infrastructure to perform more extensive repairs does not exist.

Probably no chance of getting that either. Or building it.

[Jules is inventive and has some extra abilities that could help, but he isn't that good.]

It is unlikely.
