Well, it seems that I made a rather timely request of the Storyteller a few days ago.

For those of you still awake, if you find yourself flagging, please come to my house on the first islet. Certain friends of mine back on Hydaelyn had quite the tendency to overwork themselves. Often without sleep!

[ It'd be a more amusing parallel if the situation weren't... well, what it was. ]

So, to help keep their strengths up, I developed a special tonic! It's quite effective in keeping one refreshed and alert, so... I always figured it might be useful and finally got around to requesting the materials from the Storyteller a few days ago. And now... it may help us while we try to figure out what to do about our current predicament.

That being said, I have a limited supply for the time being, so please be cautious.

[There's a new message written on the Local Rock of Communal Writing, next time people happen along.]

so far east side of the island right next to the lake there's a bunch of old buildings. one of them looks like it might've been a mess hall or something and then there's a bunch of houses and some plots of land that look like they were being used for farming stuff.

i've been working on making them habitable again. figure we could use some kind of communal area like a restaurant or bar or something.

if you're interested in helping there's some stuff that needs doing
- lumber. we got a lot of it already but we'll probably need more.
- stone. the ground is marshy in places so if anyone knows where a quarry is and how to get some rock for laying some kind of foundation that'd help
- labor. goes without saying. i'm just one guy. if you feel like pitching in you could probably set up in the finished place and use it as a base of operations or whatever. we got plenty of buildings for you to use. st probably doesn't like us on their turf constantly anyway

i've got means of waterproofing already but if anyone feels like helping feel free to let me know. write here or call me on your rock or come visit. ask for tim.

hey

i need someone who knows about plants. and vegetables. some dog came by and grew a bunch of stuff but i don't know what some of it is.

it's all the way over in that abandoned monkey base, though, so don't bother if it's a hassle. it'll probably all end up dead under my care anyway.

ps-
if anyone knows how to get dried blood out of clothes, i need that too.

I was wondering if anyone has seen Hinata Hajime on any of the islands. He has been missing for several days. Has anyone had this happen before? He's not the sort of person to simply wander off without a word. Even to trash like me.

He's tall, with short brown hair like a chestnut, one red eye and one green. Last seen on inlet 4.

I know I've talked to a few of you about this already, but if the previous pattern is any indication, we may very well be getting new people soon enough. And if that's true getting an idea of our food stocks would be a good idea!

If you're willing to share, please reply to this message with any information about the following:
  • Any farms that you are working on, including types of plants, how much being grown, and if possible, the rate of production
  • Any domesticated animals, including amounts and production rates if possible
  • Any stockpiles of food that you have and are willing to share or trade with
  • Information about other supplies, particularly for things like building and different trade crafts would also be welcome.
All of this is to make sure that we have enough food to cover our current population. This is going to just be the first step, I know. Ideally to fully accurately keep track of this sort of thing, we'll need a full population census as well as information about any unusual circumstances, dietary needs, so on and so forth.

If you have any questions, concerns, or other contributions, or wish to speak face-to-face, please contact Tataru Taru, found at the southernmost house on this islet.
