[ HELP WANTED ] ; been traveling in packs that i can't carry anymore
[There's a new message written on the Local Rock of Communal Writing, next time people happen along.]
so far east side of the island right next to the lake there's a bunch of old buildings. one of them looks like it might've been a mess hall or something and then there's a bunch of houses and some plots of land that look like they were being used for farming stuff.
i've been working on making them habitable again. figure we could use some kind of communal area like a restaurant or bar or something.
if you're interested in helping there's some stuff that needs doing
i've got means of waterproofing already but if anyone feels like helping feel free to let me know. write here or call me on your rock or come visit. ask for tim.

- lumber. we got a lot of it already but we'll probably need more.
- stone. the ground is marshy in places so if anyone knows where a quarry is and how to get some rock for laying some kind of foundation that'd help
- labor. goes without saying. i'm just one guy. if you feel like pitching in you could probably set up in the finished place and use it as a base of operations or whatever. we got plenty of buildings for you to use. st probably doesn't like us on their turf constantly anyway

[ooc: also available for action prompts! tim can be found on the H5 square, which is where everything is located.]

[There's no name attached, and it's done purposefully. Jullien is often willing to help with things, but he always does so anonymously. It's not good for people to know he's doing good things. They won't believe him anyway.]

was that you volunteering or asking

Asking, obviously.

i do not have any tools except for a saw though
no subject

-tim
no subject

Also if that place becomes a bar I can absolutely work as a bartender. You know, just saying.

can't pay you with anything besides i'm assuming free drinks but go wild i guess
how much can you transmute at a time
-tim
no subject
About 25 feet square a day at max. You'll have to deal with chalk marks on shit when I transmute, but I can fuse broken stuff together or turn a bunch of crap wood into some decent planks.

surprise! it's action!
Well. He's never been known for being a great planner. And if he's going to be heading over anyways, this is just making it faster. Cutting out the middle man of conversation.
Also the weird Rock Of Communal Writing is just. That's a bit too strange for him at this point of his island getaway. And calling someone to just go "yeah hi you don't know me but I'm coming over" is also weird.
So, after some reasonable measure of time, Tim will be approached by...some kid. He's really not that remarkable, asides from the hair and the scar.]
Hey. [A nod in Tim's direction.] You left that message on the rock, right?
c:!!!!!!!
That's me, yeah. [He's the only guy in the vicinity at the moment, so it stands to reason.] Interested?
no subject
Kind of sucks it's because he's on some weird abandoned island with some weird god shenanigans happening but. Eh. Win some, lose some.]
It would be a better use of my time than doing nothing every day. [aka being helpful is better than focusing on the day to day of survival.] I don't have much construction experience, though.
[He's here! That counts!]

[ He has found so many of the things she's been looking for, all in one place. She'd talked about the idea with Ignis a bit, but now, here, here were plans. Here was something concrete.
And something to take her mind off Ai'tuoh to boot. ]
I can help out with the quarrying, once we've found a good spot. I've actually apprenticed under quite the skilled miner!
-Tataru
[ And then, as if she keeps thinking of additional things to add in her excitement: ]
I also have a few favors that could be used for this and that. If it's to be a gathering place, a mana pool may be a good idea as well, now that I think on it.
Will you be needing help once this place opens, too?
[ Please say yes. ]
no subject
i was thinking we could use a mana pool here yeah
it'd make hauling wood easier
i'm gonna need all the help i can get yeah
interested?

[ Have you found it Tim? Have you? The mythical person who enjoys customer food service jobs? Yes you have. Don't let go. ]
I'm not as great with cooking but I can think of a few good people who are much better at it.

action;
[It seems as if they're looking for something. Or someone. And in fact, they are: if Tim should happen to catch their eye, they make a show of raising an arm and waving it at him in broad arcs.]
action;
[The fact that some kids want to be noticed, even if it is selectively, is meaningful in and of itself. He waves back, and takes a moment to amble over.]
You good, kid?
no subject
[Do u think you're safe from being flirted with just because you live with them THINK AGAIN. Frisk leans forward, dropping their chin into their palms. Tim's observations aren't off the mark; they're clearly at ease enough to be conversing at a normal volume, though that might be more because they have to project a bit from up here.]
Can I help with stuff?
