[He's been here for, what? Not even a week. Plenty of time to get the lay of the not-glitched out land and find this very convenient communal rock.
That he promptly ruins.]
Looking for some scissors! Preferably sharp enough to cut hair.
Deliver to Keith and Shiro's shack but don't hand them over to either of them, they'd probably just throw them away.
You'll know who's the right guy.

[Just sayin'.]
And how'd you learn there were things that wanted to eat you out there, huh?

Then there's the siege against nightmares from the depths of the sea we had to endure when the sun was being reborn.

Sharks aren't usually that bad.
[But more importantly...hwat]
Can you run that by me again? Nightmares? The sun being reborn?

When it does nightmareish creatures from the darkest depths come up and try to destroy it. It was a solid week of pitch black and freezing cold. We were in defensive camps to push them back. The main fighting was on Chol where the Jormun set up their defenses.

I mean, guess that's not any weirder than going into different planes of realities or whatever it is that makes the lions work so maybe I'm not in any place to question magical islands and the sun working in a way no star ever does.

The animals here are all weird.
Zizyphus has TigerLillies. They're plant tigers.

[But that doesn't mean he doesn't want to see one.
He also needs your help. You're his only hope.]
But more importantly than the weird animals, you know that XOXO means hugs and kisses, right? You're not that out of the loop.

Also how do you not know that? Did you never get letters from secret admirers or even a Valentine's Day card out of obligation from your classmates or something??

[Wow, that's depressing enough even Keith notices it.]
Most people here are from all over and from all realities. Some of us are really not human on top of that. XOXO is going to be lost in translation sometimes.
Just explain it when someone's confused and it probably will get adopted by some of them.

[That is too close to being both defensive and sincere. Unfortunate.]
I did explain it! And they said it was weird and I'm making it up! But I'm not. Obviously.

[Which says way too much about his life up until Voltron. Let's skip past that little fact.]
So it got lost in translation there. That's fine. You could ask them what they do to be friendly. Consider it a cultural exchange?
