for crossing lakes / rivers ? [ People who ride boats get special words, makes sense to them. They don't question it. ]

Mostly the sea, but probably those other ones too? I'm far from an expert.

the sea is very big though

and very not solid

nowhere to rest or hide when weather comes

wet, and it's just so big. And there's nowhere to hide! It's so open. Underground has its dangers, but at least it feels safer, in some ways. ]

I had never seen the sea before coming here so your guess is as good as mine. The boats are probably sturdy enough?
