[There's nothing at all past that rather succinct message -- but sure enough, Frisk is there the next day just before the sun peaks at the highest point in the sky. They're wearing their oversized knapsack with the name cut off, which they sling onto the sand in front of them and promptly crouch down so they can start rummaging around inside.]

[ It's a very, very busy day for Magnus! He got such a good response to his makeshift wanted ad, and people are so nice and helpful around here.

By noon, the large bear of a man arrives, knapsack slung over his shoulder, looking very ready for business. ]

Hey! You K2?

[It takes them a bit to respond, still rummaging through their belongings, but after a few moments they seize something and draw it out, rising to their feet: it's a little wooden box, about the size of an average adult man's fist. Turning to Magnus, they crane their neck upwards with a nod of their head.]

Kittu.

[kih-too. They present the box in their palm.]

I counted on the way here. There's 20 left.

Kittu. [ He repeats, taking note. The name sounds familiar, though he's never seen this kid before...

Stranger.]

[ He kneels, taking the box.]

Do you, huh. Want anything for it?

[They tilt their head thoughtfully. Usually, they'd just hand something over without expecting so much as a thank-you, but this is supposed to be a trade, isn't it. Rocking on their heels a little, it's probably obvious that Frisk hasn't really thought about this at all.]

[After a second or two, they speak up.]

You said you can make stuff? Like what?

[ Magnus puts the box in his knapsack as the kid thinks, then standing back up and crossing his arms, more than happy to talk about his carpentry skills.]

Lots of stuff. You know, chairs, tables, ducks, other wooden animals. You say it, I can make it. You know, if I find the right tools.

Ducks?

[Forget the mention of all the actually practical stuff; it's the wooden animals that really seems to capture their attention. Frisk perks up a little, their eyes opening a bit wider.]

Can you make two ducks?

[They shake their head, beaming slightly.]

[neither of which literally have any use for a wooden duck. But by golly are they gonna get one each if Frisk can help it.]

Hm, you could customize them if you want. Like paint the ducks to look like them. People love that.
