Multiple corpses of entities from our universe of origin have been deposited on the shores of Enso. They are commonly referred to as Thresher Maws.
They are exceedingly large, difficult to kill, and typically only a few are likely to be found living simultaneously on a planet: we are uncertain as to how this occurrence is possible.

(Think of how much easier it will be to make accurate assessments of gods, islands, and possible dangers with a full knowledge of what has occurred and what has been discovered? People leave and people arrive constantly: having a consistent documentation of what has occurred will help ensure nothing is lost or forgotten.)
