[Well, Zidane had been here for a few weeks so far. No matter what, he was determined to get back home and help the others trapped here, no matter how long it took. And yet occasionally, he'd get a moment where he really missed home and wondered if he really might have to stay here for a while. Still, dwelling on it would not get him home. So for now, he tried to distract himself with what was going on by exploring and helping rebuild from the earthquake. And one day, an idea came to him....]

You know, unless I've missed it, I don't think I've seen a theater in this place. If there is, maybe one of you guys can direct me to it? If not, then we need to fix that! Luckily for you guys, I used to be part of the best performer troupe in all of Gaia! I know all about this kind of stuff.

So how 'bout it, everyone? How about a place where we can put on some plays? Maybe other types of performances too if that's your thing!

......Hang on, maybe they don't have them in their world. Like the other Genomes probably wouldn't know. The black mages might not know a lot either.] A play? Well, uh......it's when you tell a story. But instead of reading it, you act it out. With costumes and pretty lights and stuff. And people come to watch 'em in theaters. It's lots of fun!

Uh....well, I can't pin it down to one play. The comical and adventure ones are the most fun though. Especially when there are cute girls involved! [Most important priorities ever.]

You could stick it in the Denny. You know, the whole dinner and a show thing... since there's a building already there and all.

[Who wouldn't want a bunch of people (more or less...) being Loud and Dramatic while they're trying to eat and relax, right??? Count him in, so long as he's acting and not dancing!]

Hmm. You're right. That could be a place to put a theater! I'll have to ask whoever owns it though. [As fun as people being Loud and Dramatic when other people are eating would be, Zidane's not stupid. Not gonna happen without the owner's permission.]

I'll find somewhere either way, though. Besides, there's no reason why we can't sometimes put on shows outdoors, anyway.

There are multiple ruins: perhaps it is possible to repair one for this purpose.

Hmmm. That's one option. As long as we know they're monster-free. I'd rather not have those worm monsters try to eat up our audience. That would really suck.

A side stage could be set up pretty easy in the Denny, or one of the other buildings around there could be fixed up if enough people get interested.

By the way, if you can get me an instrument I can play whatever music you'd need. Not much for the acting part, though.

I just talked about that to the owner actually. He seemed pretty okay with the idea as long as there were no breakages. [Which is fair.]

Hey, no problem! I'd need tons of people on the team besides the actors. Just what type of instrument do you need? I'll keep a lookout for that. [Even if it means having to get one from home.]

Well, that's no skin off my nose. I was just thinking of the small amount of time we spend feeling homesick, down or even just bored. Not all of us are gonna be on board but they can think what they want.

C'mon, nobody is gonna wake up in a weird place where there is no obvious way home and where you have to work to survive and have their first thought as, "Hey, guys! I just arrived here! I want set up a theater!"

OH! Oh my gosh, are you really gonna put on a play? Oh, oh, you should ask Molly and Yasha, they used to work in the circus, they would know all about this kind of thing, and I've seen some plays before, so I guess I know a little about it, so I could help, you know, set things up, or watching things, like rehearsals, or, oh! I play piano, so I could help with music, [There are no pianos on the island, Jester.] and I am a really really good painter, so I can make sets and things I think, and this is a really good idea and we need to have a play really bad okay.
