12/4 - Evening

[A lot of you will recognize Gladio's voice, it's hard to miss and he's certainly loud enough at the parties. And as the first day of chaos begins to wind down with no sign of stopping things become much more dire, in Gladio's opinion. A certain Shield doesn't trust the Night. Surprise surprise.]

GUYS we're not going to be able to keep this up through the night, scattered like this. We need a place to regroup! If you're on the main island, Denny's the most defensible. If not... The light house on the farming island. If you can't defend yourself or just need a break, get there. Noct? You better have your ass in that building by sun down or so help me-

We need to stop these things from attacking the flocks. We just got all this shit from Harv we can't afford to let it all get eaten or washed out to sea now. Strength in numbers, right?

[It felt so familiar, like giving orders to the Glaives when he'd been helping Cor and Libertus over the years. Clear decisive action so those that are less experienced and scared have someone to look to. There's a moment where he abruptly wonders if this is why they made him king in the end. But this isn't Lucis, this isn't Insomnia. This place is far wilder than that-]

Head North. I'm taking a boat across, getting people to the farming island. We just got the flocks and fields set up like fuck I'm letting these things destroy our food supply.

[ He has to check they're all accounted for and good, then he'll arrive to help out. Molly's neck is a bit bloody and his scimitars are glowing, but he seems happy to be in a fight. ]

[By the time Molly arrives it's late enough that the island is mostly illuminated by the strands of Muffet's webs glowing softly around the buildings and animal pens, discouraging the beasts from getting too close before Gladio can drive them back.

Having weapons that glow are definitely going to be helpful.]

You got any magic?

[Because eventually, regardless of how massive his sword is, just cutting them down isn't going to keep up.]

[ That is a huge sword, Gladio. Molly's pretty impressed - his own Big Sword™ user would probably like to try it one day. He'll mention it to her later, they should start a club.

For now, the purple tiefling is concentrated on the movement of potential enemies. He's lucky to have darkvision, so he's not hindered by the lack of light anywhere beyond shiny webbing. ]

I have a trick or two up my sleeve in case we need it.

[ He was no wizard, but the radiant energy on his swords were one thing, and the lash of his tongue could spit some very unpleasant psychic damage in the form of mockery. ]

[What do you want from Final Fantasy? Really Hyperion isn't even the worst offender on the "stupidly big" front but it's what he has with him.

Radiant energy on his swords is definitely a huge bonus right now. And Gladio's pleased to realize that Molly's vision is infinitely better than his own. ]

Ardyn and Iggy are defending the others up at the lighthouse. Prom and Noct are over on the main island so they better be looking after themselves.

What about your team?

They're good. Looking after people and killing shit. No problem.

Anyway, pardon the tiefling as he snarls something utterly demonic and vile towards a charging creature, the words incomprehensible. The creature in question shrieks in pain and pauses just long enough to get its head sliced off with a double swing from the scimitars. ]
