12/4 - Evening

[A lot of you will recognize Gladio's voice, it's hard to miss and he's certainly loud enough at the parties. And as the first day of chaos begins to wind down with no sign of stopping things become much more dire, in Gladio's opinion. A certain Shield doesn't trust the Night. Surprise surprise.]

GUYS we're not going to be able to keep this up through the night, scattered like this. We need a place to regroup! If you're on the main island, Denny's the most defensible. If not... The light house on the farming island. If you can't defend yourself or just need a break, get there. Noct? You better have your ass in that building by sun down or so help me-

We need to stop these things from attacking the flocks. We just got all this shit from Harv we can't afford to let it all get eaten or washed out to sea now. Strength in numbers, right?

[It felt so familiar, like giving orders to the Glaives when he'd been helping Cor and Libertus over the years. Clear decisive action so those that are less experienced and scared have someone to look to. There's a moment where he abruptly wonders if this is why they made him king in the end. But this isn't Lucis, this isn't Insomnia. This place is far wilder than that-]

If you need directions to Denny, let me know. We have heat, light, and food. Mana pools aren't working, but I've got some flares to mark our position, if you need it.

You any good in a fight? [Tim's skills are pretty limited to setting shit on fire, which isn't going to be super helpful when everything is soaking wet.]

[He's trying to barricade windows where he can, hauling spare lumber outside the building and pausing here and again to answer. It's clear he's busy with something, though it might not be clear what.]

[ for tim, the sound cuts out and there's no answer for a while. radio silence on ann's end. it's not until later, after she helps futaba and awakens carmen, when tim hears from her again. ]

Good. I've still got some flares to signal people over here, but we might end up needing them for whatever heads our way.

People on Nuidan or Maati might be fucked.

There's some buildings on Nuidan. I haven't even been to Maati yet so fuck if I know what's there. People that stayed out there overnight knew what risks they were taking though, gotta hope they're as prepared as they think they are.

[They have two boats that he knows of, which is admittedly better than if they didn't have any.]

I can try and contact Connor. That boat could come in handy for anyone who's trapped.

They're probably on their own till morning at least. It's not really safe on the water at all but like hell I'm asking Connor to navigate this shit when it's getting dark.

Different Noct, still means he's got curatives, though.

...yeah, no idea what that means. I'm guessing it means that he can heal people if they get hurt.

[For no other reason than the word "curative" sounds like it has the word "cure" in it.]

Potions. It means healing potions.

[Among other things but he's not sure how limited Noct's abilities are going to be and with the mana pools down there's no recharging.]

[Is this a "heal you from the brink of death" thing or "make your broken arm not broken anymore" thing, basically.]
