If you hadn't heard, Monsun is apparently disappearing soon. If anyone has time, I could use help moving the last few supplies off to the islets. There's also the tent to be taken down and moved - we should be able to carry individual pieces through the mana pool and set it up on the islets, but it's too much of a job for the few of us who remain at camp.

Finally, I might need some assistance getting Ardyn off the island when we get a little closer to time.

[Feel free to also use this as a jumping-off point for action responses involving tearing down said tent and moving everything. Eventually, said giant tent will be re-erected on the islets, but right now the focus is on moving stuff. Asch isn't likely to really stick around to scribble on the rock, he's got too much to do.]

Take the whole blasted camp if you like, I'm staying here.

Luckily Asch isn't doing that yet and instead chucks the end of one of the tent ropes at him.]

[Ardyn frowned, but wrapped the end of the rope around his hand and held it in place without an argument.]

[And he does in fact kick the bottom of the tent pole out - which causes the top of it to fall towards Ardyn, pulled by the rope, but Asch catches it with quick reflexes before it's even within arm's reach of him.]

[True to her word, Muffet is busily helping move the contents of the camp over to the islets in a neat and orderly fashion, and appears to be capable of carrying a surprisingly large and heavy load for someone so slightly built.]

[Of course, no matter how heavy they are, the inanimate contents of the camp aren't the most difficult part.]

So, is he still being stubborn?

[Normally she'd start off by saying hello, but she figures Asch would appreciate getting straight to the point right now.]

[Asch, for his part, is still in the process of tearing down the tent - there's not much left but the roof, and he's spent the past while rolling flaps up into more easily carried tubes.]

Of course he is. He's two thousand years stubborn.

I was thinking of inviting Nao to threadjack this, if you want these two to both try persuading him?

Unfortunately, we don't have another two thousand years for him to work his way 'round to leaving.

On the bright side, I believe I've got all of the camp's food sorted out and properly stored, as well as the medical supplies. About the only thing I can't figure out how to pack up and take with us is the mana pool.

[Which is disappointing, honestly, given how many favors they spent on that.]

Yeah, I doubt that's going anywhere. It's like trying to pack up a bridge and take it with you across the river.

I'm strong enough to lift him, but if you could lash his arms against his sides first, that would be very helpful.

It wasn't exactly hard to find the blonde around the tent considering he spent most of his time there. He was resistant to the move, wanting to find some way to stay, but he could only fight it so long. Excessively forlorn, he set out moving his bed and other items he had wished for first, before going back to offer some assistance taking down the rest.

It was a big tent. Moving some of the rods and smaller pieces hadn't been a big problem, but as they approached the end of the task he realized it was going to be quite difficult to move the giant piece of fabric that made it a tent in the first place. Being that size, it was surprisingly heavy, and far too big for one person to carry. He helped fold it up as much as possible, pausing to look down at it and glance to the person next to him, "Soooo. What now?"

"Now we wish those birds were full grown, I think."

Asch folds his arms and looks down at the folded tent roof. He already separated off as many of the flaps as he could, but... "Honestly, I think moving it is going to be the easier part. It's getting it back up that I'm dreading."

"Heh. Kinda wish we had the big guy around right now."

Gladio had always handled the majority of the tent stuff.

Okay. All the tent stuff. Noctis and Prompto tended to be a bit on the useless side during camp.

"Think it's mostly just gonna be an awkward weight." He stepped over to one of the sides, looking it over before bending down to try and pick it up. "We don't want to drag it all over the ground."

And, like a piece of furniture, it was a little challenging to grab it all at once. His mind went back to his snowmobile for a moment, wishing he had it working, before that drew him to another idea. "Oh, hey, think there's anything with wheels we can plop it on?"

"Not that I've seen. Only vehicle of any sort I think is that boat." Which obviously won't help them much in the middle of the desert.

Asch moves to grab the other side of the awkward chunk of canvas and other fabrics. Prompto will feel his share of the weight diminish quite a bit - Asch is stronger than he looks. "I don't think a little dragging will ruin it, but we should keep it to a minimum."
