February 16th Flooding - Voice
[The sound of rushing water and heavy breathing can be heard in the background before Jules speaks.]
What the minsid hell?! Where did all the god damned water come from?!
[There's a brief pause before he comes to a very quick realization.]
Who pissed what off?
[Because he knows someone must have pissed off something. Normally he doesn't have to ask who did it since usually he's the one doing it. Pissing people off is a talent. But here it's different. Here he avoids all the minsid god beings like the plague. He is absolutely confident that this ISN'T HIS FAULT!]
I swear to all the gods that for once it wasn't fucking me!

Hey, dumbass - what the hell is going on over there?!
no subject
[Real answer? Oh hell no, but Jules is an ass when he's pissed off and stressed - which he is on both counts - so that's what you're currently getting.]
no subject
Yeah?! That explains why you're so full of shit! Just tell me already!

[He's referring to the weed. Ichimatsu has his priorities in clean order.]

[Thanks, Alexei.]

Sure, I guess sometimes the big "we're actually trying to kill you and not just fuck with you" things come out of nowhere, but from my experience the actually "kill you" ones were triggered by someone dicking around on one of he new islands or with something or someone that turns up.

We're certain this isn't our newest "friend" deciding they've become bored with us...?
[He does not trust the Water thing more than he generally doesn't trust the other things that are usually out to destroy us in new and creative ways.]

[ Great contribution, Jyushimatsu, sure that helps things! ]
I mean it'd be easy to blame me, but nah! Was your house taken down?
no subject
[Because Jules just has this feeling that he wouldn't...]
Was standing when I left.
[Though the reason he left was because he wasn't totally sure the trees would remain standing.]
no subject
Well, that's good! I heard the monkey side of the island got kind of flattened by the waters!
no subject
[He's at least past the decimated part, but there's definitely still enough flooding under him that he's worried.]
no subject
[ He wanted to try out the weed. Little does he know Ichimatsu saved the weed up. ]

[Action] Once 'Flood: Escape' has been Achieved
[Ignis is just finishing building a fire to help Jules dry off with when he speaks. Part of him is currently, successfully, fighting back the urge to drop a towel on his friend's head like one might the head of a wet cat, but that may only because he knows full well what happens when you taunt angry cats. Instead, he will just hide his worry behind sarcasm. This might even feel familiar. Karma returned for how much Ignis worried Jules after he got hurt fighting the dragon, perhaps?]
I would have been quite cross if I had to drag you out of those trees.
no subject
You really think you could have dragged me out of the trees? I'm Andarion. I weigh a ton.
no subject
[The defense is automatic, and after a few seconds Ignis' expression becomes slightly sheepish. He runs a hand through his hair and then amends that.]
I can warp now. I just can't guarantee the gentleness of the landing with that much extra weight involved.
[It would likely involve a crater and Ignis, at least, going head-over-heels for a good several seconds. But they would be out of the tree!]
no subject
[He learned pretty darn fast that you don't do that here.]
no subject
[Ignis seems surprised at the question, but considering how it is asked, it's obvious that Jules has experienced something very different.]
Granted, I have not tried to go that far yet. My lack of vision is a unique challenge when it comes to warping since a big part of it is being able to see where you are going, but as far as I know Ardyn, Noctis, and Nyx all had no issues warping as long as they could see their destination.
[He pauses a moment and then adds a bit of an addendum.]
Actually, it did tire Nyx out faster than it was suppose to, but I assumed that was something to do with his condition when brought here. His body was feeling the effects of carrying the full powers of a Lucis Caelum thanks to the Ring and he was all but falling apart because of it.
[Those outside of the bloodline are not suppose to have those powers. Ignis' own lost vision is a testament to that.]
no subject
[He definitely had blood coming out of his ears when he woke up though. And a splitting headache that almost made him cry, and that's saying something for an Andarion male.]
