They are, but that doesn't mean I have to touch their creepy little mouths. I'm friends with humans. Not like demons date anyway...

[He adds the last part as a bit of an afterthought - really, other demons do at least have casual sex while human-shaped. Michael's just always assumed they're doing it to be gross. Plenty of demons do do things for the grossness factor!]

Why would we? None of us really even like each other all that much.

Besides, all we do is work. We don't have time off, or hobbies, or anything like that. Not like we can just stop everything to hang out with someone - and if you did, they'd definitely blackmail you with it later.

I guess that's just the way it's always been.

[He doesn't have a great deal of hope in that particular system changing. It's not even something he plans on trying, not anytime soon. The humans are much more important.]

I didn't come directly from there, though - I ran away to Earth for a little while, and now I'm more of an...independent party.

I was a fugitive from justice for a while. Earth's the one place you can't get caught, long as you take the door out behind you.
