What: Crash.
When: May 21st to May 30th
Where: Everywhere!

I Have No Words
Feel free to use this post as an event catch-all for any misfires, island-wide broadcasts, or glitching Stone shenanigans you'd like your characters to get up to! Remember that the Stones of Farspeech do not currently have a texting feature...but that doesn't mean the screen they use to display Caller I.D. can't display text, on occasion. Bear in mind that this screen is small and therefore has limited display options.

If you have any questions, feel free to look over our OOC event post here, and ask any questions as needed!

[There's a burst of radio static and what sounds like to anyone who knows it the dial-up sound for phone internet. Keith's voice cuts in] - ee your point.

There's got to be some kind of stabilizer we can use. Maybe if it's not the- [A low tapping sound]

proximity to the mana pool might be it?

Sorry, I didn't catch that. Are you saying the mana pool might help, or make it worse?

[Keith snarls 'work you stupi- There's a moment of silence.]

Testing. Is this working right? [No static this time.] Okay, I was trying to say being near it might help.

We know next to nothing about how these things work. Probably should fix that.

[ Starflight was always a supporting of knowing more about how things worked.]

I wonder if there are any books on them in the library...

...tried asking Storyteller? They might be able to explain it. ...but uh, [A pause. He's been so busy- His voice is tinged with surprise.] There's a library?

When did that happen?

I haven't... I've been trying to stay out of their way, to be honest.

[ More importantly-]

About two months ago! I guess the building had been set up before then but Drifter asked Storyteller for books and we've got most of them moved to the library. There's a lot of interesting books on all sorts of topics. I'm there a lot and could help you find things if you ever stop by. It's near the colorful building, I think they call it the Denny?

...I know where that is. Actually I might stop by soon. I have a scroll that should be kept safe. [He has kept it as protected as he could. But a library is where it belongs. With proper caretaking and available for all.]

We found it on the isle of Umui. Anyone should be able to see it and review what was said. Has any of the other Umui found writings been stored there?

A scroll! [ Books are all well and good, but scrolls were so much more familiar. ] We'll do our best to take care of it. I'll be sure to find a good place for it.

I can't say for certain, but I don't think so. I've never heard of Umui before. Was it very different from Io and Cahypdo?

Yeah, it was really different. [So none of the writings had been stored there. Well, maybe others will follow suit.]

When we first got there we noticed there was a lack of any animals. There were plants everywhere. The buildings were old and decrepit. We had no idea what to expect and we figured out it was dangerous way too late.
