Feel free to use this post as an event catch-all for any misfires, island-wide broadcasts, or glitching Stone shenanigans you'd like your characters to get up to! [She's been letting a lot of this pass her by; Beau likes to be a sneak, but it's easy to just hear what's being said and simply not engage. She gets the gossip she wants like some sort of Fantasy Buzzfeed, and nobody needs to hear her shit.

But this one's finally, finally enough to get her to say something.]

Hey uh, dude, not that I'm the person to step into things like this but you're sending out some heavy shit over here.

[It takes him a moment to do the mental math. He's not in control of this, okay? He has no idea what she's talking about at first, but he figures it out.]

Look, I can't stop you, this just kind of seems like... really personal? Like a big you thing, which other people probably don't wanna be in on.

[A small pause.]

Sounded really fucked up, though. You good?

I imagine people would rather have their peace and quiet uninterrupted, yes.

[He sounds amused, and in full agreement with her.]

It happened some time ago. I've had time to come to terms with it.

I mean, I meant more with the begging for your life thing, that's not exactly just a wake up call right? It's like uh, like a keep up one.

[Cool. Bad at words. Trying her best.]

Are they here? Person who did that to you. Wanna know if I'm liable to end up murdered.

[There would be a shrug, if this were in person.]

It doesn't keep me up much any more.

[He's at peace with is. Shockingly. It's just a fact of his life.]

I have not seen him here, though that does not mean much.

[Look, she knows the feeling. Trauma gets old and then it gets normal, even if it was world-shattering at the time. Every time someone hears her father had her forcibly kidnapped and detained for years on end, they like, get super worried about her. But it's fine. Sometimes shit happens, ya move on.]

Still. There's only so many people around here. I mean, supposedly you'll just get back up if you die here or something, I wasn't super listening? But that just means we really can't go around revenge stabbing, or the guy you stabbed will just be back to murder you like three days later.

Death is rather whimsical here, it seems. I'll try not to set off a chain of murders, though I make no promises.

Whimsical? Damn, that's a word for it. Everything here is a mess, but at least we get to come back if we really fuck up I guess. But yeah. Murder train. That'd suck.

[Does she dig in with him? Would a total stranger appreciate her poking and prodding? On the other hand, who knows when she's gonna see him again.]

Do you really not carry any kind of grudge? For being assaulted by like... family?

[Maybe it's a little personal on her end, too.]

[He goes quiet for a moment, thinking over the question. It must be hard to believe, he imagines, to forgive someone for doing one of the heinous things they could have done.]

I used to. But that anger weighed me down and kept me from being truly free.

[It was all spite up to like a year ago, tbh. She's still working on that one, as much as she can be.]

Huh. Alright. You just let it go?

[That sure is a way to make a very complicated journey sound very, very simple.]

Sounds easier said than like, spiritually done.

Oh, it was not an easy process.

[He laughs, softly.]

It took time. I had to come to peace with who I had become before I could let go of the pain and rage I felt towards Hanzo, but in the end I am better for it.

Huh. Heard that one before, too.

[Sounds like the shit the monks always peddle onto her. Is this guy a monk? What kind of luck would that be if the Cobalt Soul had followed her here, and it wasn't even the single person she liked.]

Well, thanks. Hopefully he doesn't show up and reopen old shit. And your rock thing doesn't start broadcasting your uh, screams again or whatever.

It's advice that bears repeating.

[On the upside, he's not a monk, though he's certainly spent plenty of time learning from monks.]

Hopefully this broadcast was just a one time thing. For all of us.
