Feel free to use this post as an event catch-all for any misfires, island-wide broadcasts, or glitching Stone shenanigans you'd like your characters to get up to! Remember that the Stones of Farspeech do not currently have a texting feature...but that doesn't mean the screen they use to display Caller I.D. can't display text, on occasion. Bear in mind that this screen is small and therefore has limited display options.

Genji hears this altercation, and it's so familiar, so tragic, that he cannot leave it unacknowledged.]

[By now he'd caught on to the fact that oops, the worst day of his life was broadcast to everyone with a magic rock. Ardyn was, to say the least, displeased. 'Considering shattering the rock against the Storyteller's temple' was perhaps a more accurate summary.]

I'd love to say he was the worst disaster the kingdom ever suffered, but I do believe I claim that title myself.

I find I was fully within my rights under the ancient law of 'he started it'.

A law that's very rarely respected. My father never believed me when the broken vase was my brother's fault.

[Which isn't quite the same as something impacting entire kingdoms, but, details.]

I am the youngest of only two.

I was firstborn by three years. Just the one traitorous murdering lunatic of a brother, though.

Same gap as me and my brother...Though in our case he was the one who was murderous.

I'm sure that's what our family believed - that Hanzo was the smart one. They would have been correct, I think.

Well, that's just the problem. Cleverness like my brother's was worth little without compassion behind it, or at least it was back then.

Compassion would have saved my brother from many troubles. [He sounds amused.] ...Though I will admit it was something I struggled to learn as well.

Hard to learn, yet so very easy to forget.

[A beat.]

And I imagine you're not the sort who wants to hear about forgiveness.

That's probably for the best. Waiting for something that will never come can ruin a man.
