Hi, everyone. It's Mira, and I recently had a dream that I've been kind of worried about. It's probably nothing, but in case it turns out to be something that might happen, I can't just keep it to myself.

I don't really remember a lot, but I do remember... fire. Lots of people screaming. And something that smelled like-- [ lord, she hates this, and the hesitation is painfully obvious ] --cooking meat. It didn't feel like the storytelling, and it felt real, especially for a dream.

[ The cooking meat bit couldn't be burning flesh. Definitely not. ]

... I know that's not a lot to go off of, but it felt important enough to share, especially with any new islands that might appear.

Gladio once told me about a dream he had that is unsettlingly similar in some respects. In it people were very quickly fleeing an island that was either exploding or collapsing for some reason. There was much screaming in it as well. I sincerely hope that the two dreams are not connected.

[Especially with the smell she mentioned. Oh, just the thought of it makes him want to be sick. Few things can cause such violent devastation and he doesn't want first hand experience with any of them]

Are you doing all right, darling? Shall I bring you something to eat while you settle back in?

A... volcanic island, maybe? It didn't seem like a volcano, but I'm not really sure.

Settle back in? I didn't go anywhere, I don't think...

Old volcanoes sometimes cause the islands that spring up around them to collapse once the magma chamber has become empty, but a collapse like that wouldn't explain the fire you saw.

[His tone suddenly softens and grows sadder.]

You've not been around for a couple weeks. I was worried.

Oh, dear. Do you have prophetic dreams?

[That seems like it should be a sarcastic question, but he sounds completely earnest. What does he know, that could be a thing.]

No, not really... but my dreams have never felt like this.

[Hm. That sparks a memory.]

I recall I had a strange dream when I returned here after being absent, some time back. It did not involve fire or anything like that, but it was...offputting. [He also kinda doesn't want to describe it.]

I'm sorry. If it was anything like mine... it must have been awful.

We've had prophetic dreams. Someone dreamed about the- [the sun dying, but he realises the event was a whole year ago and he's not sure if Mira will know of it.] he predicted an event last year. Bad dream, bad thing happens in real life.

So... it really might mean something.

People get dreams sometimes. When they disappear and come back.

[It's happened to people he knows, but...not to him. That's probably a good thing. He doesn't want more dark shapes and unknown memories plaguing his nightmares. He has a surplus of those already.]

...That's, uh, quite the dream. I would probably call that a nightmare.

... It was awful, Pyrrha. There were so many people screaming.

[She frowns, not that Mira can see that, but what she's saying, and how she sounds...

It's her turn to pause.] I've... been in a situation sort of like what you're describing. It's horrible, I know.

[ Pyrrha is so nice, and so earnest. Mira can see why Pyrrha's Nari fell in love with her.

She lets out a breath, shaky and near-explosive. ]

It is. I.... hope we can do something to prevent it. Or... just the worst of it.
