This place is bullshit.

[ That's putting it mildly, in Molly's not-so-humble opinion. ]

There's one thing to share dreams and other weird things, but getting tortured upon that is just insane. Rewards don't mean shit when it comes over someone's life. Even if you get up again, here, there's no way it's just going to be shrugged off. I don't care how tough you think you are.

[ He's got experience, after all. ]

How do we get out of here rather than just sit around and try to become farmers in broken homes? Please tell me you've at least fucking tried, because I'm done with this.

[ Even if Molly can't exactly go back to being dead, he's getting his friends out of here. No matter what it would cost him. ]

Some people says the storyteller won't know anything because they've just woken up together with us from some hibernation, but that sounds like bullshit.

Most of the stuff here does.

That can't be right. Somebody else told me that if I had questions, I should find them, and that they would have answers.

(hmm)

... I asked a dog how to get back to Wildemount.

I know, right? I heard the same thing, and now suddenly it doesn't know anything? Even my lies are better than that!

[ Huff. ]

Well? What was the answer?

[ If anyone could talk to actual normal dogs it was Yasha. ]

She gave me a flower.

(Yasha's voice has softened a little. She's still pleased about it.)

But– though she is similar to the Storyteller, they are not one and the same. So I am back to square one.

Good dog.

[ A flower with probably the weirdest background behind it so far. There would be confused gossip in the afterlife once Yasha returned with it. ]

It's a better start than the guy who doesn't even try because 'his technology doesn't work' by miles, Yasha. We'll get to the bottom of this, if I so have to make an even louder nuisance of myself.

(She's quite taken with it, actually. It's very beautiful.)

I think you would make an even louder nuisance of yourself anyway, no matter what happens. But I am the same, I want to know what is going on. I don't like being trapped here.

[ He would love to see it and appropriately ooh over it. ]

It's effective to annoy people and being loud, isn't it? Either you get some answers or someone comes to shut you up, and then you have your answers anyway.

[ Be loud and nonconforming enough, and something's gotta give, eventually. ]

I'm not going to let you be trapped here. No matter what.

(Her smile is apparent from her tone. In all seriousness, she has seen him employ this tactic several times over, and it has always worked in their favour, she just loves to tease him. The smile is gone when she next speaks, however.)

It doesn't really feel like being trapped, when it means that I get to spend more time with you.

I'm glad I can spend more time with you, too.

[ He's so glad they got her out, that she's safe (back home). It was the only thing that had hurt when he died, not knowing if she and the others were okay. He had faith in the rest of the Nein, but knowing makes it easier to deal with being dead.

(She opens her mouth as if to say something, but only sighs, and falls silent. It would probably be a good idea to talk to Molly about this... but Yasha doesn't think that she is ready, yet. She has had difficult conversations with him before of course, but this feels like it is on a whole other level.

She scratches the back of her neck slowly with one hand, and changes the subject.)

Where are you, right now?

Me? I'm making a fool out of myself with these questions from the safety of our own little abode.

[ Not that he wouldn't love to do it in the city square (like he sometimes did while introducing the carnival), but this place didn't have one. The closest gathering place was Denny, and Molly's not about to start a possible riot in the only place with drinks.

Taverns are holy in this weird hell. ]

Do you want me to meet you somewhere?

No, I can come to you.

(When isn't Mollymauk making a fool of himself? She'll ignore that comment.)

It's... strange, being apart from everybody all the time. (I think I am getting used to being in a group. She doesn't say that either, but that's because she's embarrassed by it.)

[ That's interesting to hear. Yasha was kind of a loner by nature, so hearing that she was feeling weird about being away from the group was heartwarming.

She needs all the friends. ]

It is weird to not hear Jester chattering about things or the sound of Caleb flipping the pages of his books. Less group drama, though.

[ Most if it was external right now. ]

I know.

(She does miss the company, and Caleb's cat, and Fjord's bad jokes. Molly is very right about the drama, though.)

We have been here for a few months, now, and nobody has nearly died. We're doing well.

[ He's not sure if he agrees with that. This place was messed up, but they were still here. Trauma or no trauma. ]

I admit getting some beds was pretty up there with doing well. My back was hurting, I'm getting old at almost three.

[ He's deflecting with dumb jokes and he doesn't care. ]

(It's so obvious when he does this, even if she isn't right there beside him. She can hear it in his voice. Yasha isn't entirely sure how to address it though, not when they both feel differently, about this place.)

Soon, you'll be an old man. (Sometimes it's easiest to go along with the dumb joke.) I'll have to carry you everywhere.

[ Sometimes she knows him far too well, but he doesn't want it any other way. ]

I'll start forgetting things and tell children to hush.

[ ...or however old people act, he's not sure. ]

Carry me off and put me on a bench so I can whine about the weather.
