Everything with tech here gets a symbol on it. Trying to replicate it hasn't replicated the effects, but that doesn't mean that something that's broken can't be repaired. My suit's comm is fried, even if the suit is meant to be vacuum-sealed. It shouldn't be affected by zero-g, and it definitely shouldn't be affected by water. But, since the comm is a part of the suit and the suit is still powered, that means that I can try to get into its systems and fix it, maybe even boost the signal it's emitting to see if I can call for help.

But you're following all that, right? Because we're speaking the same language.
