There's one thing to share dreams and other weird things, but getting tortured upon that is just insane. Rewards don't mean shit when it comes over someone's life. Even if you get up again, here, there's no way it's just going to be shrugged off. I don't care how tough you think you are.

[ He's got experience, after all. ]

How do we get out of here rather than just sit around and try to become farmers in broken homes? Please tell me you've at least fucking tried, because I'm done with this.

[ Even if Molly can't exactly go back to being dead, he's getting his friends out of here. No matter what it would cost him. ]

I like this place.

[The complaints are nothing new. She's heard them since day one and knows they'll persist for as long as people have homes to go back to.

But she doesn't, and as far as places go, this island and its caring god is leagues better than the dead, ghost covered world she arrived from. She seems to be outlier in this situation though and it makes her curious about these people and their original worlds.]

Are you 'home sick?' Do you miss your world?

[ Molly's voice softens as he hears Ren, because the young girl was pretty much the only one that didn't need to hear him bitch. Doesn't mean he'll sugarcoat it too much, though. ]

I'm glad you like this place, but it's dangerous. Are you alright after these trials?

[ Totally Ignoring that last part. ]

[Hey??? Punk??? She's dealt with Tim for some time now-he's a master deflector and the way Molly changes the subject reminds her of him. It's concerning and makes her wonder why, especially when he was talking about home worlds and returning back.

She's quiet, but make no mistake she notices the change.]

[ He's not doing this for himself, and the reason for that isn't something she needs to worry about. He can definitely tell she didn't buy that for a second, though.

Good thing Molly's gonna pretend it never happened. He's too horrified that Ren's been through this bullshit right now. ]

[ He doesn't know how to fix that, honestly. Molly's good with damaged kids, his first friend was a damaged kid, but 'losing a few lives' were kind of above that. ]

What-? No, I'm good. Everything's fine on this end. Is your family taking care of you?

[It's impossible to stop the way her voice perks when he brings up her family.]

Yes, they make sure my heart feels warm all the time.

[No matter what happens, even if they're in the midst of their own crisis or problems-they always find the time to smile or give her a hug.]

Is there someone taking care of you?

That's what families are for.

[ At least in his opinion. 'Growing up' with a full heart of joy made him who he is today. It's a relief to hear that she's got that kind of backup. ]

What? Oh, yeah. I have three of my friends here, we're good at taking care of eachother.

Either way, she's happy with this outcome. He can hide from his problems and he's got people around the island to keep him happy when it becomes too much. There's a smile in her voice when she says-]
