Battle Teachers Wanted

We've put a great effort towards making sure we have enough supplies to last through the darkness, and everyone who contributed should be praised. However, I was thinking that if there are going to be monsters attacking the entire time, then we're going to need to prepare our bodies as well as our supplies.

I'd like to set some time and space aside for sparring, or maybe even combat training. I'm fairly strong, but I've never had any formal combat training, so I wouldn't make a good teacher... but I'm sure that there are people around with more experience. If you're willing to donate some time to help someone learn a few techniques or survival skills, you might save a life. Even if not, some sparring could make sure our instincts are still sharp and we're not out of shape.

If you'd like, come to the east end of the first islet around sunset. I know that doesn't sound like the best time, but we should probably get used to fighting in the dark, and I still have a full jug of wassail, so the cold shouldn't be too much of a problem, either. The only home near there is mine, so we shouldn't be getting in anyone's way.
