I have been stocking my tea blends at Denny for several months now. Are there any flavors you would like me to try that I have not yet? The tea garden on Io is so large, I think I could experiment quite a bit without using too much.

Have you managed to find any lavender or chamomile? I don't believe I've encountered either, during my efforts to collect edible plants.

Oh! I have not seen any lavender, but I do have some chamomile! I have replanted some in my garden.

Ah, excellent. I would be happy to trade a cutting or seed from my own garden, in that case.

[Muffet pauses, considering the very, very large variety of plants caused by her habit of hoarding at least a few samples of anything edible she can find In Case Of Emergencies.] That would be a rather long list, I'm afraid. [Do you want to get off the phone sometime today, Asgore. You'd both be here a while.]

Ah, well. I will just see it when I come by, then!

[Honestly he could talk on the phone forever and be totally fine, he is so lonely 100% of the time, but he can take a hint!]

[He misses coffee. He misses coffee so much but caffeinated tea will do.]

You will find that black teas have the most.

[He's made a few varieties of that already; he always labels the ones that have caffeine versus the ones that don't.]

There are fermented teas that have a higher caffeine content, but those would take quite some time to prepare...

You don't have to do that if you don't want to, but enough people're going through caffeine withdrawal to be grateful for a bunch of black tea.

I suppose I may as well set aside some to ferment. It is no trouble for me - but you should know that it will take some time to age.

[pu-erh tea is go! in, uh, six months to a year apparently?]

As for the regular black tea, are there any flavors you enjoy in particular? I can add any fruit we have, it makes no difference.

I dunno. I'm not really that experienced with...tea...if that makes sense.

Blackberries, maybe. Raspberries. Or - stuff like cinnamon. That red tea. What's it called? Roo...something? [The word he's looking for is "rooibos," though he doesn't remember it.]

Rooibos? That is from a different plant entirely, I'm afraid.

[Also doesn't have any caffeine, but that's neither here nor there.]

But I can make you some blackberry tea, and some chai.

Rooibos, right. Blackberry sounds better anyway.

Chai. Man, I don't think I've ever...

[He doesn't think he's ever had the opportunity to try it.]

I do not quite have all the spices I would usually use for chai...but there is cinnamon and ginger, and I can get some cloves. It should be similar!

[He genuinely sounds surprised. Time to experiment with teas. He's never really had the opportunity before.]

I have always enjoyed it! I will bring some by Denny when I am done.

[He knows where Tim lives, but he also knows that Tim is usually at Denny. Also, dropping in unannounced on Frisk and Chara is...an uncertain proposition, still.]
