stones of farspeech (12 jan)
(While her companions may be comfortable addressing the network as a whole, Yasha has never put out this kind of call before. She's a little hesitant in her speech, and it definitely sounds like she went over what she was going to say before she picked up her stone of farspeech to do it for real. She's doing her best.)
... Hello.
I wanted to ask something about gardening.
Where do I find dirt? There is a lot of sand around, but I cannot find dirt. I would like to have a lot of it.
Thank you.
(There's the sound of muffled fumbling with the stone, and then another, faint addition right before she finds the off button:)

[Look, he can't really tell you the science behind it, he just generally knows that it works.]
It was a consequence of dying. I am sure it will clear up any day now. [That rings a little of false optimism, but. It's definitely going to eventually.]

(She can see it in action when she visits.)
You died? How did you come back? (Perhaps a cleric raised him. Still, Yasha hasn't heard of somebody being blinded after the fact.) It... sounds like your cleric did a botch job.

[He knows what the word cleric means in general, but not really in the context of raising people from the dead?]
I'm sorry, I thought you would be aware. That is something which happens here. If you die, the Storyteller will bring you back to life in their temple. But there is always some cost to it - a temporary one, but still.

No, I wasn't aware. But I don't intent to... to die, any time soon.
(It's nice to know that there is a fail safe in place, though? Honestly, Yasha had never considered the possibility of dying here.)
How did you die? (is that a personal question or)
no subject
[That seems like a good enough explanation without getting into details.]

Are... there consequences for dying too many times?

(It's supposed to be a joke, but she says it so plainly.)

[It's fair!]

(Also she hasn't had the opportunity to punch anything in quite a while and it's starting to drag on her.)

[Not that Asgore's problem has ever really been a lack of combat skills. If anything, it's more that he doesn't use them.]
