[Backdated to August 3rd](Lupnet broadcast )
Hey, we have a situation over at the memorial on Umui. We have people trapped under it. Bring something to cover your face with and anything to help you dig.
...if you haven’t been to Umui best you stay away. [His mind is on the Stage One Alert. He has to camp on this island now.]
Who else has talked to Arum 25? We should pool what they said together and see if we have any further clues.

[Very concerning, if Grimm was being honest. He did not have the experience nor knowledge that long-time residents of this world had but even then it put him on edge.]
no subject
[He pauses and says, carefully.] They tell you some sort of assignment? [The more he thinks about it the more he feels a sick relief Shiro isn’t around right now. He’s...as safe as their lives ever are.]
no subject
[And given how secretive the city appeared to be it should not be a surprise.]
They also had a warning to share about the Storyteller. "Let them be forgotten. Let us never again see their fiction. And do not make them angry." I do not know much about the Storyteller as I am a newcomer to this place, so I cannot say how accurate that warning is.
[But warnings about Gods were ones to keep in mind, from his experiences.]
What have they said to you, my friend?
no subject
I think anyone has seen Storyteller would realize they can be dangerous. We all can be. I’ll keep it in mind. ...you ask about Tempide?
no subject
[Gods were subject to the same emotions as others (at least in his world) and the anger of the one the Troupe Master had been close to was devastating. Yet he himself was in the same boat and he has also not met the Storyteller in person.
The people of Ai'tuoh may have had their own opinions on the Storytelling God and their method of forgetting them was something Grimm was eerily familiar with, however.]
I did not. Will to explain it to me?
no subject
Tempide was mentioned in the scroll we found by the dock. I’m wondering if information about it is restricted too.
Tempide and Rapsho. Just to cover both bases while we can. Rapsho was also called Bliss.
no subject
But there are more important matters. They could not proceed if everyone simply concerned themselves with their health.]
Bliss was another one of the Gods, correct? My friend mentioned them to me. Would it be accurate to say that 'Tempide' would be this island's God?
[If he's following correctly.]

[It could be a lead. He has no idea if it is but he’s grabbing every scrap he can.]
no subject
You raise a good point, my friend. An island fled from to escape an unknown disaster only to run into another or a new home, free of this disease. [None of them could say "Ai'tuoh" was the original name if the latter was the correct theory.]
To move this conversation back to what Arum-25 is speaking of, what is stage one? I am assuming it is a sickness.
[Grimm was not familiar with certain jargon but he was capable of reading in between the lines. The world of Hallownest was filled to the brim with sickness, the disease of an angry light god. It had to start somewhere.]

You know you've hit stage two when flowers start growing visibly on the surface of your body.
I've got the list of what to look for in the first stage and second if you want to hear it. [By now he strongly suspects he has it. The itch has persisted and he's starting to really feel ill.]
Arum said there's no evidence they found a cure or a lead to one. We'll have to find it ourselves.
no subject
[The virus of the Radiance spread out and out but she continued to have control. This seems to be nothing similar.]
That information would be very welcome. Did Arum-25 say if there would be differences in symptoms between different species? I, among many, are not human.
[Grimm is not assuming he would have an immunity to this disease simply because he was a bug and a God, but it could be disastrous if there were indeed differences that went unchecked.]
no subject
Anyway, this is what they told me. Fever, nausea, vomiting, numbness to nerves and joints...yeah this one will suck, difficulty breathing, fatigue, difficulty sleeping, vertigo, weakness, tremors, and extreme thirst. They also mentioned the plants growing internally will cause an itch in the back of the throat or so. That's stage one.
no subject
...ah, yes. Grimm had not noticed any changes in his sleeping habits but he had been feeling more and more thirsty lately. The Troupe Master was not someone who neglected such things as food and drink so it is rather noticeable. As for the rest, he would have to keep it in mind.]
Thank you Keith. I can say that I personally have felt parched lately, but if it changes I can inform you as well. My particular...breed is that of a bug. It will be worth asking others who are not human as well to make sure there is no difference in symptoms.
no subject
This was a good idea. Hopefully, it affects us all equally...I don't want it to be faster for anyone.
no subject
[He has a very good feeling that a cure will not be found on the first day. One could be very lucky but Grimm knew it would be foolish to count on luck alone in such a situation.]
no subject
...having you teleport and check on people would be a good idea. Just...make sure not to over do it and hurt yourself.
no subject
[His teleportation skill was normally unlimited in his world but it seems someone or something decided to put a limit on Grimm's favorite ability.]
We just have to hope we are fast enough that everyone remains safe.
