My name is Xion. I've been here a couple months now, and there's something I want to talk to everybody about.

The Jormun have been talking about the sun dying. That it's going to be really bad - with darkness and monsters and other dangerous things. But I haven't... really seen that many people talking about it. Or at least what we're going to do. Before I got here, I came from a place where things like this would happen all the time and it helped a lot to work together, or at least not all fight on our own.

And if we're going to do that here, there's different things we should probably do:

• We need to get supplies together. Things like food and water, and clothes to keep warm. Maybe wood for fires too. We probably have healers but medical supplies too, in case powers don't work for some reason, or there isn't one nearby.
  
• We need places we know will be safe. Like camps, or bases. They'll need some kind of defenses, and people there in case monsters try to break through. We should have at least one place too for people who don't want to fight, or can't.
  
• If we have enough people with different skills, it might be a good idea to figure out who goes where, so that not everyone - people who can fight, or heal, or things like that - is all in the same place. Unless we all are in the same place, I guess.
  
• Has anybody talked to the Jormun about working together yet? We should probably figure out if they're okay with letting us help them, and if they are, how we can coordinate.

There's probably other ways we can prepare that I didn't think of. I'm sort of new at this. Sorry.

[She makes half a motion - as if to jump to her feet - but then realizes her lap is still full of precious objects.]

That'll help a lot! Do you know how much you have? Just... so we can have a rough estimate.

[Muffet nods in understanding, and elaborates, not bothered by Xion's continuing to sit.]

I've been focusing on quantity over variety, largely stew and cookies- things that are easily stored or carried, and can be divided among multiple people. My food is magical in nature, so we don't need to be concerned about not having a balanced diet, or about it spoiling. At this point I'd say I have enough to last a small amount of people through the week comfortably, or enough for a larger group if they're willing to ration it carefully and supplement it with other supplies.

Similarly, I've been weaving my silk into cloth that I can more easily shape to individual people later, once I know who is in need of more protection from the elements, instead of trying to guess at everyone's sizes.

[Look, Xion's survived for a month on pumpkin. Compared to that, stew and cookies sounds pretty nice.]

I'm hoping we'll get more to mix in with that. I... I'm not so sure about the clothes. I haven't been here as long so... my best guess would be to put an offer up on the rock, and see who answers.

[That plan has its flaws though, and she knows it. Still, it's about what she did in the Tower and besides that mun doesn't want her to step on Tataru's toes too much]

You might need some spares though... just in case.

Likely, yes- I've been trying to keep in touch with as many people as I can, but it's rather hit or miss. Still, better to make more than we need instead of less. I can always find another use for anything leftover later.
