It might not be. But then, do we really know what a year is here? On Earth it's 365 days, but here it could be something else. A year is simply the amount of time it takes a planet to go around the sun. Some planets take ten earth years just to do their one year. So, this may happen every cycle, but it may be thousands or millions of days.
